Teyana Taylor Reveals to People Magazine the advice she got from Beyoncé that helped her build her career:
"She said Don't take it personally, this is business.' Beyoncé also said that most of her money goes to all the people you have to pay to get your vision off the paper. Not every check is going to land straight in your pocket, and that only happens if you really believe in yourself. Believing in yourself is investing in yourself,
and that's what she taught me. It made me understand that if Beyoncé is like that—so centered and down-to-earth-that's how I need to be too. And her being so humble and so grounded the way she is definitely showed me everything I needed to know."
Waiter shares how Beyoncé and Jay-Z completely surprised her with their humility and great sense of humor during a restaurant visit — and left a tip so generous it covered her house rent instantly.
"Beyoncé was down to earth af. Like shockingly so. She's like that one coworker you'd cry over when they quit. Super warm, polite, smiling, actually engaging with me instead of talking through me. When I came to their table to introduce myself I said "Hi I'm, I'll be taking care of you this evening" and the woman literally said, "Hi, Pleasure to meet you, I'm Beyoncé."
