Après avoir miraculeusement survécu au massacre du 7 octobre, le jeune Israélien a décidé de mettre fin à ses jours après avoir été témoin de trop d'horreurs, notamment du viol d'une fille. Le poids écrasant de tout ce qu'il a vu, entendu et vécu, ainsi que son incapacité à sauver la fille agressée à proximité, l'ont fait se sentir incapable de continuer sa vie.

Voici la lettre traduite de l'hébreu.

« Hé toi, s'il te plaît, pardonne-moi !

Tout a commencé jeudi, nous dansions et nous amusions, et vendredi - tellement de plaisir tout autour, voir des amis que nous n'avions pas vus depuis des années - nous nous sommes tous retrouvés pour danser et célébrer la vie. Samedi matin, le soleil commence à se lever, c'est tellement beau qu'il commence à briller sur tout le monde.

Nous dansons et sommes heureux, nous nous embrassons, et certains de mes amis commencent à partir. Soudain, des roquettes commencent à voler au-dessus de nous, je sais, c'est ma vie - je viens du Sud.
Mais ensuite il y a des parapentistes - j'espère qu'il ne leur arrivera rien...
Puis les coups de feu commencent - que se passe-t-il ?

Nous voyons le camion arriver, des parachutistes habillés en uniformes étrangers - ils tuent tout le monde.
