I thank Jamaica and Suriname for joining the Franco-Mexican initiative aimed at suspending the use of the veto at the UN Security Council in cases of mass atrocities, bringing the number of supporting States to 120. The momentum must continue to grow.

Nous ne pouvons plus attendre pour rendre à l'ONU son efficacité, qui ne doit plus être entravée par l'usage abusif du droit de veto. J'invite tous les pays qui ne l'ont pas encore fait à nous rejoindre !
