@Lips1982 Not if Isak wants to force a move. Newcastle getting record money for Isak and signing Ekitike with money left over so you can strengthen other positions also makes sense. Personally, I'd want to keep hold of Isak too.

@adam_couser I fully agree, I knew of his bad start, but with the money that flies about the sport nowadays, people expect instant results. It's more cutthroat than ever.
I think ETH is a good manager, if he has players respect. He doesn't. And Utd have players happy to bench warm for money.

@adam_couser Everyone expects another SAF, but in reality, you'll never get that again imo.

The wage structure in Utd is also an absolute shambles. Paying 50mil for players like Onana doesn't rest on the Glazers shoulders either. The clubs recruitment is awful. Glazers aren't the sole issue

@adam_couser I agree SAF career start was awful and he almost got sacked, but, what I think this also shows is, how good a manager SAF actually was considering the results he was able to get with the team and squad he had at his disposal.

This is coming from a Liverpool fan btw.
