Charlie thinks that his farm is worth £4m. James tells C to sell some of it to pay any inheritance tax. C says “no-one wants to buy it”. By the rules of market forces, his land really isn’t worth £4m, it’s worth nothing. So he wouldn’t have to pay inheritance tax. Job done. QED.

@restisents re: theme tunes. Can I make a (slightly late) case for the wonderfully “meta” theme for 4th-wall breaking “It’s Garry Shandling Show” - it’s not the best theme, and I know it’s a bit knowing, but I love the way the song breaks the rules in the same way the show does.
