Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t understand why “she was 36 and I’m 33” even mentioned? A 3-year age gap between adults isn’t a big deal, nor is marrying a woman three years older some noble act worthy of a standing ovation. I mean, what even? 🤷🏻‍♀️

You should respect and appreciate the honesty instead of making it sound like a flaw. It’s better to be upfront about a deal-breaker than say all the right things before marriage and then leave a child caught in resentment, favouritism, or family politics later.
