Greg Abbott & his wealthy allies are pushing a school voucher scam that will hurt Texans.
- Rural communities will suffer. Many rural Texas schools rely on state funding to survive. If that money is taken away, schools will close, teachers will lose jobs, and families will be forced into the private school system that is unaffordable, while the wealthy will get a taxpayer-funded discount.
- Your tax dollars will fund private schools—with no accountability. Private schools can reject students based on income, disabilities, or religion. Public schools serve everyone—vouchers will defund them while benefiting the wealthy.
Texans DESERVE fully funded public schools—not a scheme to drain our education system for political gain. Call your legislators & demand they say vote NO to vouchers!
