@amronaldo Previously, Budget Day felt like a national event.Parents and neighbors would sit glued to their radios listening to the budget speech, even when they didn't fully understand the technical language. Today,60% of people are not even aware, lost interest in what the regime is doing.
@Sudhirntv Very little this regime does shocks me anymore. Once I realized that the regime and its citizens operate with entirely different ambitions, priorities, and goals, many of its actions began to make sense
@GeraldSuuna@JSConversations Unfortunately, my comment has nothing to do with books, and you're not even aware of my qualifications. In any case, it was nice knowing you. Goodbye.๐
@JSConversations Why do we even have 24 Supreme Court justices, does that number include the Constitutional Court as well? There seems to be a lot of redundancy, and the level of fiscal irresponsibility in this government is quite concerning.
@Mwenedata99@MuhozaDivine1@TherealKwizera Good observation. However, Uganda relies on the Port of Mombasa for about 60% of its trade, and it also hosts around 2m refugees, many of whom regularly travel to Kenya for UN-related processes since most agencies and NGO offices are based there. High search volumes explained ๐
@MuhozaDivine1@Mwenedata99@TherealKwizera I also don't really understand the fondness either, but in my view Uganda doesnโt have many opportunities to offer anyone. Anyway, youโre welcome anytimeโบ๏ธ๐ค
@amronaldo Bro, regardless of where the money comes from, priorities need to be set correctly. Even a simple/basic railway system would deliver much greater economic benefits than focusing on an airline.
@MuhozaDivine1@Mwenedata99@TherealKwizera Sampling a population provides insight into broader perceptions, especially when many people report similar experiences. Additionally โ, Google data shows that out of all foreign countries, Uganda has the highest volume of search interest among people living in Rwanda.
@BenLtd1@KabandizeAbel8 Under Uganda's constitutional framework, ministers are not just political figureheads. They are members of the Executive responsible for policy direction, implementation, and accountability within their ministries, while permanent secretaries handle day-to-day administration.
@Mwenedata99@TherealKwizera I'm not trying to win an argument here. I'm presenting what I've personally witnessed and what many others have consistently reported. While your family, relatives and friends may not be part of the group I'm referring to, exceptions do not invalidate a broader pattern.
@Mwenedata99@TherealKwizera When you work closely within a community, you can clearly observe certain patterns. From numerous testimonies and the reality on the ground in Uganda, it's evident that many Rwandans have a strong interest in identifying with Uganda.
@Mwenedata99@TherealKwizera I've been to Rwanda many times, including long stays, so I speak from direct experience and know exactly what I'm talking about.
