Thursday saw the Selby team at North Yorkshire Horizons celebrating 10 years of delivering support for drug and alcohol use to the local community and surrounding area! Dozens of visitors came along to join in the fun alongside staff, volunteers and people that use the service.

When I joined the sector I was told “people who use drugs can’t access mental health support, and people with mental health needs can’t access support around drug use”. Sadly, DCB report cited it’s still true in many areas.

This is an opportunity to own this issue. So exciting!

We've looked in the mirror and decided to change ourselves quite radically. Next year we'll merge with @rfmentalhealth to create a unified drug/alcohol, mental health & housing offer to support people facing #multipledisadvantage. It's a big task but we are super excited!
