It is said that “even Gods were envious of some humans who lived on this planet.” Blessed to witness it in person; an evening of Devotion, Dance and Divinity.

A PRAYER FOR THE SOUL OF DIPU CHANDRA DAS
History remembers sacrifice. But today, the soil that was once liberated with Indian blood is being stained with the blood of innocent minorities.
In 1971, our Indian Armed Forces stood for the oppressed. Our brave soldiers didn’t just fight a war; they fought for the identity and dignity of millions of people of what is now called Bangladesh. Nearly 3,900 Indian soldiers sacrificed their lives and over 10,000 were injured to ensure the birth of Bangladesh. We gave our lives so that others could live in peace.
But today, “peace” is just a word; persecution is the reality. According to the Bangladesh Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Council, 2,442 incidents of violence against minorities were documented between August 2024 and July 2025. Over 150 temples have been vandalized and desecrated. These are not just acts of unrest or random chaos; it is a deliberate, targeted strike at the heart of a community’s faith and its right to exist.
The pattern of targeting is clear and cruel - Last year, we saw the unjust jailing of the ISKCON monk Chinmoy Krishna Das and the brutal lynching of the Communist party leader Pradip Bhowmik. And now the horrific murder of Dipu Chandra Das in Mymensingh. This young man was not just killed; he was subjected to a level of savagery that shames the 21st century. Reports confirm he was lynched in public by a frenzied mob, his body was then hanged from a tree, and he was set on fire. To witness such a demonic act in broad daylight is a sign of a complete collapse of humanity and the rule of law. My heart goes out to the soul of Dipu Das. I pray for his peace and offer my deepest condolences to his grieving family, who have had to endure a loss so gruesome it is beyond comprehension.
The demographic reality of the region is a chilling testament to this ongoing tragedy. In 1951, Hindus made up 22% of the population. Today, that number has plummeted to below 8%. This isn't just migration; it is a systematic persecution that the world chooses to ignore.
I call upon the Leadership of Bangladesh to move beyond mere words of condemnation and restore stability. You must ensure the safety of every Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian citizen. The perpetrators of the Mymensingh horror must face the ultimate justice to show that no mob is above the law. I also urge World Leaders and the international community @UNHumanRights@UN to open their eyes to the plight of minorities in Bangladesh. Selective silence is a betrayal of human rights.
The blood of our 1971 martyrs was shed for a land of peace, not a land of persecution. We cannot, and will not, remain silent.

Thirupparankundram is the First of the Six Abodes of Lord Murugan (Kartikeya). The practice of lighting lamps atop the hill during the Tamil month of Karthigai is an ancient tradition of Hindus. It is sad and ironic that today the Hindus in Bharat have to seek judicial interventions to practice their faith and perform their rituals. If, even after winning a decisive legal battle, devotees cannot perform a simple, peaceful ritual on their own property, then where, in their own country, shall they truly find constitutional justice?
In short and simple, let all the Hindus in Bharat understand this - The bitter truth is - The Chennai High Court affirmed our right to light the Deepathoon - first by a single judge, then upheld by a higher bench. Legally, the battle was won. Yet, practically, we were forced to adjust.
Ask yourself - Can any religious festival be moved a week late? Can a holy day's celebration be shifted to a different time? No. Because the sanctity of religious time and the integrity of every religious calendar is non-negotiable.
Yet, for Sanatana Dharma, the moment—the sacred Karthigai Deepam—was stolen, vanished forever. Why? Because Hindus can be taken for granted. Sometimes it's the governments, sometimes it’s the executive, sometimes it’s the NGOs, sometimes it’s a random pseudo intellectual groups – but every time, it is Hindus who accept the loss and adjust. We secured the right, but lost the ritual. This repeated, systemic denial is why a time has come to demand more than just court victories - We need the Sanatana Dharma Raksha Board where devotees actively manage their own temples and religious affairs.
Mockery of Hindu traditions and rituals has become a norm for certain groups. Do they dare to do the same for other religious events?
Does Article 25 become an optional right instead of a fundamental right to the Hindus? Can a Police Commissioner or a District Magistrate unilaterally nullify a specific High Court Directive? If the High Court confirmed the Deepam lighting was a "harmless religious act" on legally owned land, who decides that this practice constitutes a threat to "communal harmony," and by what legal mechanism? How come HR&CE Department consistently and repeatedly act against the interests of Hindu devotees and their temple's traditions, and how do these officials evade serious accountability?
Hindus should observe the collective spirit and solidarity shown by practitioners of Abrahamic religions (religions of Arabian origin) when religious issues arise. They overcome their ethnic, regional, and linguistic differences for the sake of their faith.
As long as Hindus remain divided by caste, regional, and linguistic barriers, the mockery, insults, and abuses against the Hindu religion and its practices shall continue. If Hindus in our nation don't unite under a common minimum program with the collective spirit of Hindu Dharma (or Aram in Tamil), this spirit will be lost.
I hope for a day when every Hindu from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Kamakhya to Dwarka wakes up to the humiliation Hindus face in their own land.

Just as outer light enhances our ability to see the world around us clearly, it is the inner light that enhances our awareness and perception leading to consciousness and ultimate liberation. Karthigai Deepam is a celebration of transforming darkness into Light both within and without. Blessings. -Sg
Our Culture, Civilization, and Ethos have always been the foundation of Bharat. The profound wisdom of Sanatana Dharma taught us tolerance, social acceptance, universal brotherhood, peace & harmony and a deep reverence for all creation, including Mother Nature herself. While our ethos and dharma guide us toward righteousness and duty, our Modern Independent India is solidified by our Constitution, the guardian of our democracy and unity.
The Colonial rulers and East India Merchants not only looted our material riches and exploited us to the core, but they also planted the seeds of inferiority and low self-esteem. This intellectual and cultural devastation was shrewdly planned and executed by men like Thomas Babington Macaulay, who’s infamous "Minute on Indian Education" aimed to create "a class of persons Indian in blood and colour, but English in tastes, in opinions, in morals and in intellect"—a blueprint for intellectual and cultural slavery that taught us to be ashamed of our own heritage. Even long after the colonials physically left, the hangover of this colonial mindset still persists.
The famous Political Philosopher & Marxist Frantz Fanon once quoted, “Imperialism leaves behind germs of rot which we must clinically detect & remove from our land but from our minds as well.”
I am immensely happy and proud that under the leadership of Hon Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, a decisive national initiative has been taken to not just wash away the colonial symbols and signs but to reclaim our own identity and restore the national sense of self-worth. Changing the name Racecourse Road to Lok Kalyan Marg shifts the focus from imperial leisure to the Welfare of the People. Placing the Sengol inside the new Parliament is embracing our own ancient tradition of governance rooted in Dharma. Renaming Kingsway (Rajpath) to Kartavyapath redefines the core national purpose from subjugation to Duty. The replacement of the colonial St. George’s Cross on the Indian Navy’s ensign with the royal seal of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is honouring our heroes and celebrating our history. These are not just changing names but a critical step towards Cultural Decolonization.
We can see the renewed national spirit shining brightest in Ayodhya today. The Dhwajarohan (flag-hoisting) ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple is not merely the completion of a construction project; it signifies cultural renaissance and civilizational affirmation. The future of Bharat truly rests inside each one of us. Let’s be proud of who we are, reconnect with our roots, and use ancient wisdom and knowledge to build the Naya Bharat. This isn't just a simple change; it’s a powerful awakening to bring back our Bharateeyata in every way we think and act! Jai Hind!

From astronomy to engineering, from commerce to cuisine, mathematics to music, art, dance and language - every aspect has been pursued and cultivated to enhance the human body, mind and spirit. 1983 inspired an entire generation to dream big and chase those dreams. 🏏
Today, our Women’s Cricket Team has done something truly special. They have inspired countless young girls across the country to pick up a bat and ball, take the field and believe that they too can lift that trophy one day. 🏆
This is a defining moment in the journey of Indian women’s cricket.
Well done, Team India. You’ve made the whole nation proud. 🇮🇳 💙
A Deity is a living Divine entity. It is only when a Deity is managed, rituals are conducted, and all other requirements are fulfilled by those who are deeply devoted to the Deity, that a temple becomes an abode of vibrance and transformation. I beseech the Prime Minister of India and all the members of Parliament to correct the anomaly of apartheid against the Hindu community in Bharat. This is not a favour but the fulfillment of fundamental rights as enshrined in our Constitution. Jai Hind. -Sg @narendramodi@PMOIndia@AmitShah@rashtrapatibhvn https://t.co/nwtvIRv7Ve
Our Mind is our business - our primary business. The human mind is the most powerful and phenomenal Tool on this planet. It has manifested itself in the most astonishing inventions and technological advances that have become a benchmark of human ingenuity. However, all the strifes, conflicts and humanitarian crises around the world are equally a product of the human mind. This #WorldMentalHealthDay, we must commit to take charge of this magnificent tool - our mind - so that its wellbeing manifests the many miracles it is capable of, in the world around us. Let us commit to investing 7 minutes a day to experience the Miracle of Mind. -Sg

The Ancient land…
The Unclaimed glories
of this Ancient land
Unsurpassed in Consciousness,
skill of navigating the Inner
and the Outer to great
Wealth and Wisdom matchless
in Profoundness and Prosperity
Nurtured by great rivers
and ravaged by gross invaders
Inhuman to its extreme
intent on wiping out its Spirit
and Piety by destroying its
Sacred Spaces and its empowering
knowledge that powered a civilization
of incredible human endeavours.
Till today ravaged and tattered
but still abuzz with its
spiritual strength that is
indomitable. A power that is
against none and a Gateway
for Humanity to rise to its Glory

Dear Hindus,
Millions were given two choices: convert or die.
They chose Dharma. That’s why you can say “Jai Shri Ram” today.
Your identity is not an accident, it is the result of unimaginable sacrifice.
Never sell it in the name of secularism !!!
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is an epitome of Rashtra Bhakti. Their Nationalism has been a vital bridge during some of the most trying periods of Bharat’s recent history. Congratulations on completing a hundred years of service and sacrifice of a very silent sort. 🙏🏽 -Sg @RSSorg
Ayurveda is not merely a system of medicine; it is a profound science of life and an ancient system that enables human beings to live in harmony with all living beings around. Celebrating Ayurveda Day on the autumn equinox is a commitment to bringing health, joy, and wellbeing to all human beings and to every other life form that nurtures us. –Sg @moayush
Every rural man and woman who came out to participate in #IshaGramotsavam represents the possibility of what this Nation can achieve with spirited and invigorated human beings. This is not about winning medals or being the best, it is about throwing yourself into Life with total involvement and abandon - this is the only way we will do great things as individuals and as a Nation. These men and women must become the springboards for tomorrow’s champions who can not only master a sport but the game of life. Congratulations and best wishes to the finalists and everyone involved in the success of Gramotsavam. Blessings. -Sg @mansukhmandviya@mybharatgov@YASMinistry@LabourMinistry@FitIndiaOff@NSaina@chessvaishali@BhavinaOfficial
Probably nowhere else in the world 35,000 villages come together annually in friendly but full-blooded competition in the true spirit of sport. #IshaGramotsavam is a celebration not just of rural sport but of all aspects of rural life - its cuisine, art, music, dance and traditional games. It is an effort to re-ignite the spirit of rural Bharat -Sg
In India, a new God is never a problem because we clearly understand that God is of our own making. We evolved the technology of God-making and created energy forms through which we can access certain dimensions of life. So, if AI is the new God, I have no problem. -Sg
