Why Do We Say "Praise the Lord"?
When we say "Praise the Lord," we are not saying that life is perfect or that we have no problems. We praise God because He is worthy of praise in every season of life.
Many people are carrying heavy burdens. Some are struggling with sickness, financial difficulties, family problems, loneliness, grief or unanswered prayers. Yet even in the middle of those struggles, God remains faithful.
Every morning we wake up is a gift from God. The breath in our lungs, the strength to keep moving forward, and the hope we have for tomorrow all come from Him. God sees every tear, hears every prayer, and knows every battle we face. Nothing is hidden from Him.
The Bible teaches us to give thanks in all circumstances not because every circumstance is good, but because God is good. When we praise Him, we acknowledge that He is greater than our problems and still in control.
That is why when someone says, "Praise the Lord," we can joyfully reply, "May the Lord be praised" It is our way of declaring that God deserves all glory, honor, and praise no matter what we are going through.
Today, if your heart is heavy, remember this: God has not forgotten you. He knows your struggles, walks beside you through them and His love for you never changes.
Praise the Lord!
May the Lord be praised! #Amen 🙏 #Worship #ChurchFamily #AfricaFaith #UKChristian #USAChurch #CanadaFaith #GodsWord #Prayer
🙏 Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your love and faithfulness. Help us to praise You in every season, trust You in every struggle and walk daily in Your peace. May our lives glorify Your name. Amen.
Sacrifice is exactly what love looks like, Christ was the ultimate example of this.
He didn't just Sacrifice his body but his fleshly desires.
For the word says in the same way you and I are tempted he too was tempted..
A God of mercy and understanding.
A God of love and peace but brings forth justice and righteousness with a judgement so strong no darkness can suppress his acts..
Truly we serve a great and merciful God.
God bless you thank you for shearing this.
🙏 Happy Wednesday, Family in Christ! I pray your day is filled with God's grace, strength and countless reminders of His love. Be encouraged the Lord is with you. ❤️ #WednesdayMotivation Good Wednesday
Obedience Opens the Door Matthew 28:16.
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go.
The disciples obeyed Jesus before they knew what was waiting for them. Sometimes God asks us to move forward by faith before He reveals His full plan. Trusting God doesn't mean having all the answers it means believing that He does.
When life feels uncertain, remember that God sees what you cannot see. Your responsibility is obedience, His responsibility is the outcome.
🙏 Prayer: Lord, teach us to trust You when we don't understand. Help us walk by faith and not by sight. Give us confidence that Your plans are always good. In Jesus name, Amen.
A delayed answer is not always a denied answer
For the vision is yet for an appointed time. Habakkuk 2:3
What God promised may seem delayed, but it is not forgotten. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep moving forward. The same God who made the promise is faithful to fulfill it.
Prayer: Father, strengthen our hearts while we wait and help us trust that You are working behind the scenes. #Amen #Habakkuk23 ❤️ #GodsTiming Good Tuesday Taco Tuesday
If y'all don't mind praying for them, my parents (80 & 81) got sick in Alaska and are having a difficult time. Mom went to ER tonight. Sent her home, but her and my dad have to go to their PCP tomorrow.
