We did it. I am joining @vercel as a Developer Success Engineer. I think I may be the first Malawian to work for Vercel.
7 rounds of interviews, and we did it.
It's a big movie!
So i decided to work on the driver's feature, so you could be able to see, how many people are on the same route with you, how far they are and at what speed they are going.
Asked wifey to register and test 🙂↔️ma username antopola basi😂😂
I was on a one week holiday. So i got bored sitting around my apartment and decided to build a web app😂.
So i built a speed trap enforcer and "notifier" app for the Lilongwe to Blantyre M1 road.
When am on another boring holiday maybe I can work more on the Live Driver options better.
@Keystanoel@Dowa_17 Its like you made money by offering boat rides across a river, you will do what you can to prevent the construction of a permanent bridge. There is always someone benefiting from a broken system. The trick is to make it so that people who benefit from a fit system outnumbers them
@PempheroMphande@Santaah92 I mean that is part of it… where there is money people will form cartels. South Africa has the most notorious tenderprenuiship cartel. But its offset by its productive industry which in turn provides the basis for the economic growth.
The discourse on how people are advertising the stock market is to make it as if we malawians do not realise a good thing such as the stock market. Thing is we want to, but most of malawians are broke and want money NOW!
