Don’t get retested!!! You can still test positive for months and you are no longer shedding. Consider yourself positive and contagious for 10-14 days after your first symptoms. If you still have any symptoms, after 10 days, consider yourself contagious.
Children in the UK are among the most over-tested, over-examined pupils in the world.
It’s time we moved away from an exam-heavy education system and prioritised the creativity, critical thinking and wellbeing of children with a flexible, diverse and decolonised curriculum.
Woke up today feeling extremely dizzy when I tried to walk about so took a COVID test to be safe and ended up testing Positive.
Took another test to make sure and tested Positive again.
I've been super safe as well, so it shows how easy this new variant is to catch.
10 years ago I was told "Prepare for your darkest hour. You will be dead in 3 days" by a Private Harley St doctor...I had Meningitis and was very ill. He charged me £1300 for that short consultation. I phoned him a week later to say that I was alive and asked for a refund!
@h1jabae True but sometimes I rush my prayers or being absentminded. I wish that every prayer could be my utmost best with those levels of mindfulness that you speak of. Ameen❤️
@LuciferStrange7 @Luke_McShane @jimsainsbury@jeremycorbyn@NEUnion But that’s the struggle- how can these kids even cover all content with so many of them facing disadvantages? So many kids don’t have laptops/ access to remote learning, only 1 laptop among many siblings, etc kids from less wealthy families will be significantly disadvantaged :(
@Luke_McShane @jimsainsbury@jeremycorbyn@NEUnion I’m sure we can find a workable solution that will make sense. It will be a massive change, but we’re in a pandemic so it’s peak times and things have to change. Messing with Childrens education to the detriment of not giving them a fair chance shouldn’t be one of them.
@Luke_McShane @jimsainsbury@jeremycorbyn@NEUnion That’s literally what they do in nurseries, so why not give them one more year in nursery lol. People saying nurseries will fill to over capacity; well that’s a demand to open new nurseries=new jobs - happy days 🎉
@emma142202@JigsawLearning@DonSpaniel@krishgm Also it would create demand for more nurseries to open which in turn will create more jobs in these uncertain times. I see this as the only solution!
@IkebukuroIce@jeremycorbyn@NEUnion Wouldn’t repeating the year be the most creative and fairest way to do this? The only kids to be affected by this would be nursery children moving into reception, which surely they could have one more year deferred and we move the starting school age to 6 rather than 4?
