From 6 April 2024 the main rate of National Insurance contributions for the self-employed will be reduced from 8% to 6%.
Along with the abolition of Class 2 NICs announced at the Autumn Statement.
This helps to grow the economy by encouraging people to work.
We’re increasing the threshold at which parents start paying the High Income Child Benefit Charge, from £50,000 to £60,000.
Making almost half a million families better off by an average of almost £1300 per household.
Plans to end unfairness in the Child Benefit system by April 2026, by assessing the High Income Child Benefit Charge based on household income rather than individual earnings.

The Government will end the current tax regime for UK non-doms.
