An accurate poll:

• Requires a scientifically drawn sample that is large enough and accurately reflects the demographics of the electorate being surveyed.

• Must use neutral questions that aren’t loaded. The ORDER of those questions is also important.

Many polls are designed to produce a predetermined outcome—whether to serve as a fundraising tool, create a bandwagon effect for a candidate, or suppress Republican turnout.

I would urge everybody to take the polls they see today with a grain of salt.

Polls have often underestimated Trump’s support when he himself has been on the ballot—and I think the same is true here.
