Had to post. Returned from holiday in this area. These people know how to cook fish and chips. Best we have ever tasted. Crisp thin batter, thrice cooked chips.
So wish you were closer.
Keep it up.
@stevemiddi1@CYBGHungrStrike All it needs is one case to win and 'frighten the pants off all of them'.
A case that stings a bank for millions with no NDA in place.

@MLorrM Reminds me of those nice business relationship managers at the bank - the ones that called on their SME customers to sign toxic arrangements and then left them to be eaten alive by the rest of the pack. #PGwidow

I have read through all of this.
A wonderful insight into the 'darker side' of insolvency.
A superb piece of work.
Parliament needs to make time to discuss this as soon as is possible.
Please note Kevin Hollinrake MP.
@premnsikka@Jac_critter Lord Prem Sikka there were courageous people in the room on the 7th July.
For my part I have already written to Dame Harriett Baldwin MP.
Copy of the letter will be winging it's way to you.
I am challenging the 'moral compass' of Barclays Bank.
Last chapter to, 'OUR STORY'.
๐ฃ๏ธ SUPERB SPEECH BY LORD PITT-WATSON
Lord Pitt-Watson has been actively participating in the proceedings in the House of Lords about the Financial Services and Markets Bill. On Wednesday 8th July he delivered an impressive speech about the need to protect the Ring-Fencing regime, which is all about the need to mitigate the risk of market instability.
TTF wholeheartedly supports the sentiments that Lord Pitt-Watson conveyed and is also grateful for the many speeches that were aligned to his general concerns that the lessons learned from the Global Financial Crisis are being forgotten, by some.
Lord Pitt-Watsonโs speech and the debate that followed can be watched here ๐

@ArturNadol7566@hmtreasury In 1995 HMRC were roped over the coals by the government in relation to problems with Equitable Liability. Staff had been told to keep it secret, a ruke to help the disadvantaged. Imagine whistleblowing on that one.
It could have saved my husband from bankruptcy.
Let victims of the UK insolvency industry speak.
The insolvency industry is poorly regulated and lacks public accountability.

Prior to this anticipated meeting being arranged Lord Sikka, I forwarded my personal concerns to you via the House of Lords requesting an Amendment to the Insolvency Act 1986.
The need for a regulator is long overdue.
