@OPistolpete@Dopegame_Fresh@nojumper A tax writeof means you don’t need to pay taxes on what you gave away. So assume 20% tax, if you make 100k you pay 20k taxes. If you give away 30k you made 70k and pay 15k taxes. But you gave away 30k, so you only have 55k left instead of 70k when not giving anything away
@iamyourhuman @Eatlovepray22 They’re kroketten, not bitterballen. You can’t get bitterballen from a vending machine. It’s basically the same thing, but a different shape.
@BAyshah @floridanow1@InternetH0F There most certainly is a sales tax on food. 9% in the Netherlands. And you can only get VAT back on items that are not consumed/used in the country you’re visiting. So if you buy an item you can get the VAT back when you leave the country.
@floridanow1@InternetH0F Is Europeans pay VAT in the states too you know. Except when you take stuff out of the country, you can get the VAT back for items you take back, but you’ll have to pay VAT in the country you’re bringing it to
@fastpitstop If you (obviously) know a little about a sports (no matter your profession), then yes. If you see the teams in the back fight it out, McLaren doing better and better, Aston Martin struggling, Ferrari trying to get their act together, Mercedes making their way up, etc etc.
