Self care is realising you can leave the social event early because you’re reaching your socialising capacity and you are about to burnout. Took me all of uni to learn that I am not missing out. I’m a lot happier in my own space than I would just to fulfil that social expectation

@KRandomAnderson @AbleOTUK It’s taken me many extra years of education, including a year out due to autistic burnout, to get to the same point others are at without the extra years. Luckily I’m able to voice my needs a lot more now but I still really struggle

Finished my widening placemat today and the 4 weeks went by so quickly! The presentation felt like my baby by the end but I’m so glad it went well :) just the business write up to go
