@Kilogram42047@jsharryb1@juasanalghaib unemployment spike that economists can confidently attribute to them. If you’ve got data showing a marked rise caused by those policies specifically, feel free to share it.
@Kilogram42047@jsharryb1@juasanalghaib I did read it. You’re moving the goalposts a bit though. “Definitely affected” isn’t the same as proving they caused a major rise in unemployment. The April 2025 minimum wage rise and NI increase may have added pressure on some employers, but so far there hasn’t been a clear
@Thrashes12@cloneinreallife@Aerodronee Of course he didn’t want it, that’s what being closeted means. Besides imagine how his fans and society would have reacted back then, if even today there’s people coping about it even after there’s solid proof of him visting gay bars and sending love letters to men.
@Thrashes12@Aerodronee You think these things are done at a glance? What kind of cope is this, if there was any chance they were fake they wiuld have sued for fraud 😂
@Thrashes12@Aerodronee All of them were signed. And why didn’t they sue for fraud, or forgery. Instead of copyright infringement?
Under law, you can only claim a copyright violation if the material is real and legally belongs to the author's estate and since they won the court declared them authentic.
@Kilogram42047@jsharryb1@juasanalghaib Most research finds minimum wage didn’t cause major job losses overall, including for young people. Youth unemployment rose across the whole western world including in countries that didn’t alter their minimum wage due to broader economic conditions.

@Thrashes12@Aerodronee Wasn’t there also a thing where a writer posted a book with a bunch of love letters sent to him by mishima and his children sued him for invasion of privacy? (basically confirming the letters were real lol)
@Thrashes12@Aerodronee Interesting topic to just be interested in lol. Also odd how every biographer that knew him and wrote on his life wrote about his frequeting gay bars and how he married his wife out of convenience for the sake of maintaining the image of a “traditional family”.
@Kilogram42047@jsharryb1@juasanalghaib Imagine thinking paying the absolute bare minimum allowed by law isn't 'cheap labor.' The whole point of the post-Brexit visa shift was to fill low-paying roles that domestic workers won't take for minimum wage.
@blank_Schwi@NameIsSnapple I think you did have a problem with it seeing how he had to hide it his whole life and wrote a book about how ashamed he was of it
@Kilogram42047@jsharryb1@juasanalghaib I can’t tell if you’re just asking to be annoying but you can search the exact requirements yourself, it should take 1 google search. Ofc immigration is harder now than when they had free movement in the eu.
@Kilogram42047@jsharryb1@juasanalghaib Not really, non eu immigration increased because employers still needed cheap labor after brexit. By encouraging migration from outside the eu (=discouraging the migration of eu nationals), you invited a population that’s more likely to claim benefits than the richer eu nationals
