The entire website has got a new fresh coat of paint. New organization, animations, structure, and most importantly, NO ADS FOR ANYONE! We hope you enjoy this clean new user experience!

This also comes with redesigned Plat Cards and Profile Cards you can share anywhere!

We have also added share cards for games without Platinums (100%s)!

🔹Gamification🔹
Inspired by old school RuneScape, we have gamified your platinum trophy collection! Each plat you get gives you experience towards 1 (or multiple) jobs across 5 different disciplines.

Claim the experience from completed contracts to start leveling up now! This is the first (of hopefully many) updates in the gamification process!

1000 contracts are available right now, with many more coming soon! Game contracts will exist for games that aren’t part of badges.

🔹Badge Changes🔹
Badges have now been split into generations! This doubles the amount of badges on the website and allows users to chase after the badge they want on the console generation of choice.

🔹Rating Update🔹
In addition to our old rating system, you can now select one of three options to let other trophy hunters know at a quick glance what you thought!
- Do it
- Good game, tough trophies
- Skip it

We also added an optional “quick take”, which allows you to let other trophy hunters what you thought about a game in 140 characters or less!

🔹Premium Update🔹
Check out our new support page! We are changing our premium structure to make the overall experience better for all users across the board!

There is also a public roadmap of where we hope to take the website in the future! Let us know what you think!

- Expanded leaderboards to include total plats, total badge points, and contract xp. There is also additional leaderboards for jobs and disciplines to see where you rank.
- 3D badge animations when viewing your collection!
- Game browse page condenses games with multiple trophy lists into one entry. Each trophy list (stack) also has its own page that can be accessed.
- Various setting changes for your account.

@thaJenks_ I mean 82% of the gaming dollars being spent digitally does speak to how gamers are deciding to spend their money. That's $4.50 digital per $1 physical. Also I really doubt the AI/shovelware stuff is a big line mover for them. It's annoying but I highly doubt it's 1% or more.

This seems reasonable to me even if not much was said. I would prefer physical media stay if not just for the nostalgia but we've seen every industry embracing digitization in recent memory.

I'd love to read more about their plans for the future & navigating this change.

Sony CFO Lin Tao says they will not change their plans to end physical disc production and will cautiously move forward with the plan!

The #NoDiscNoBuy movement has predictably turned into an avenue for the worst people you know to harass indie devs and other gamers for enjoying a hobby.

I wish y'all had this same energy 15 years ago when the topic of "owning your games" was actually being decided.

The way this tweet is worded is meant to spark outrage and engagement. Prices will "be significantly higher" in some regions (like the US) because they will discount games in other, less financially wealthy regions to meant their pricing expectations. Regional pricing is good.
