🚨 INSPIRING STORY OF SUPER EAGLES 🇳🇬🦅 TEENAGE MIDFIELDER

As a young boy in Lagos playing football on the street, Jacob Adeoye Aderemi (@hunter_jnr4) dream was to represent Nigeria 🇳🇬 at senior level i.e Super Eagles 🇳🇬🦅.

Unfortunately, this didn't happen not until the teenage midfielder joined @IkoroduCityFC early this year.

Last year December, Aderemi was still playing grassroots football with one the teams in Lagos before we scouted him.

He joined us in January 2026 and walked into the team because of his exceptional talent and he became a super regular, posting superb performances week in week out for @IkoroduCityFC.

After a few months of playing his first professional football as a teenager, he was scouted by Super Eagles 🇳🇬🦅 head Coach Eric Chelle in his visits to Lagos to watch NPFL game.

Aderemi was not in Eric's plan for the Unity Cup but after seeing his quality as a young midfielder, Chelle was convinced beyond reasonable doubt. That was how Aderemi was first called up to Super Eagles 🇳🇬🦅.

At the Unity Cup in London 🇬🇧 , Aderemi made his debut after he was introduced as a substitute in two games and gave good accounts of himself in both matches.

Yesterday, he earned another call-up to the Super Eagles team for the International Friendly against Russia 🇷🇺 coming up in October this year.

Aderemi is a modern day defensive midfielder and can also play in any midfield position. He fits perfectly into Eric Chelle's style of play and approach.
