"Peace isn't just the absence of conflict; it's the presence of love, understanding and compassion. Let's bridge divides, listen to each other's stories🇺🇦💙💛
❗️❗️❗️🇺🇦🇷🇺In a sobering assessment of the brutal war of attrition, Ukrainian Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi revealed that the Russian army is losing more than 400 soldiers for every single square kilometer of territory it manages to capture in the Donetsk region.
Syrskyi shared these figures during a high-level briefing with Lieutenant General Curtis Buzzard, the commander of the NATO Security Assistance and Training mission for Ukraine (NSATU). The commander-in-chief emphasized that Ukrainian forces are intentionally employing a highly calculated "active defense" strategy, making every offensive step for the occupying forces as costly, exhausting, and bloody as possible in order to systematically deplete their manpower.
To further degrade Russia's offensive capabilities, Syrskyi highlighted that Ukraine is expanding its deep-strike operations. Ukrainian forces are regularly targeting Russian military-industrial facilities at distances of up to 2,000 kilometers, while simultaneously executing its "Middle Strike" campaign—destroying the Kremlin's critical logistics networks and supply depots 200 to 300 kilometers behind the active front lines.
‼️‼️🇫🇷🇺🇦 BIG | In a monumental geopolitical shift, French President Emmanuel Macron has officially confirmed that Ukraine has secured domestic manufacturing licenses for three of France's most advanced military assets: Aster-30 anti-ballistic missiles, AASM Hammer 250kg precision-guided bombs, and SCALP long-range cruise missiles. This strategic authorization marks a major turning point, allowing Kyiv to bypass foreign supply bottlenecks and directly localize the mass production of high-tech, deep-strike, and air defense weapons on Ukrainian soil.
Further cementing this long-term defense partnership, Macron announced that Ukraine will integrate French-made Rafale fighter jets into its air force, with deliveries officially scheduled for the 2028–2029 timeframe. The acquisition of these cutting-edge, multi-role combat aircraft will fundamentally overhaul Ukraine’s aerial warfare capabilities and ensure a permanent, westernized deterrence posture against future aggression.
This unprecedented level of technology transfer represents a profound evolution in European military support, signaling that Western allies are no longer just donating stockpiles, but are actively transforming Ukraine into an independent, highly advanced military-industrial powerhouse capable of securing its own skies.

Ukraine's Navy has a dedicated unit for this: the 801st Underwater Counter-Sabotage Center.
Their job isn't generic diving ops - it's hunting enemy combat swimmers near Ukrainian ports and coastal infrastructure.
🇺🇦👊🔥 The Armed Forces of Ukraine have eliminated the commander of an assault subunit of the Russian 80th Tank Regiment through strikes in the rear of Russian forces.
Previously, he had been accused of shooting his own soldiers.
This targeted strike in the Russian rear not only removes a key commander but also highlights internal problems within Russian units, including reports of brutal treatment of their own personnel. Such eliminations of command staff further disrupt Russian operations and morale.
Modern drone warfare has made conditions for infantry more brutal than perhaps at any time in history, with months-long stints on front-line positions now the standard.
The Kyiv Independent’s Francis Farrell and Olena Zashko traveled alongside Ukraine’s 24th Mechanized Brigade to document the reality of the "road of life" between the front-line cities of Druzhkivka and Kostiantynivka.

1/ Ukrainian operatives inside Russia are reportedly acting as forward air controllers, according to a Russian source, using infrared laser beams – invisible to the naked eye – to guide drones to targets. This is likely being done to defeat Russian electronic warfare. ⬇️
✈️❗️Russia cancels flights en masse due to fuel problems, – Russian media
More than 100 flights have been delayed at Sochi airport, some have been canceled. Due to repeated flight delays, people have to spend the night at the airport, and there are not enough places in hotels.
Passengers also complain about problems with food and transportation. Airlines explain the delays by technical and logistical difficulties.
A similar situation is observed in other regions of Russia.
🔥 A Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance group captured five Russian soldiers while clearing an enemy observation post in the Sumy direction.
The operation highlights the increasingly active fighting along the border region, where Ukrainian forces continue to disrupt Russian positions, gather intelligence, and take prisoners for potential future exchanges.
🛳️ Claimed as 5 Azerbaijani sailors were killed when Ukrainian drones struck two grain carriers, Natra and Zircon, in the Azov Sea overnight.
Both ships were privately crewed Azerbaijani contractors sailing under foreign flags to a Russian port to load grain.
🔥 Another blow to Russian logistics near Pokrovsk.
A supply node used to support enemy positions was located and destroyed by drone operators from the 25th Airborne Brigade's Unmanned Systems Battalion.
Every destroyed warehouse means fewer supplies, less ammunition, and fewer opportunities for the enemy on the battlefield.
