And in the 2nd Innings, yet further proof that “trickle down economics” can never be relied on for sustainable outcomes…

For the first time in a decade, Australia's top four have all passed fifty in an innings of a home Test 🙌
Was it a result of trickle-down Konstanomics?

Biggest takeaway from today’s @vicchamber event…
#NetZero isn’t a concept, it’s a process. And collectively, we need to start executing practical steps, instead of continuing to engage in philosophical discussions.
And we need to do it now.

@LiebCricket - Perhaps a throwback, but for some reason, a “Cricket Group Chat” I participate in called “Friends for the stability of Test cricket” went down a Mitch Marsh rabbit hole that you might enjoy…

@HunterGMeredith@rlwriters Without hindsight, I cant imagine I would have done anything different to Sivo in that instance.
I agree that that play was not the right move. Trying to score was the right move, unless it meant a choice between scoring or turn the ball over; attack and then set up for the FG.
👀FAN'S EYED VIEW - FISHING FOR EELS🎣
There's nothing like a "spicy" Fox Sports take to get #NRLTwitter into a spin.
"But the most glaring missed chance came with five minutes to go when Sivo’s grubber down the sideline off a scrum went dead in goal..."
Let's have a look 🧵
Good to see @cricketcomau on the ball for #BBL11 launch night. The app has the Triple M broadcast playing in the match centre, advertised as SEN.
Tbh, Mumford and Sons are better than this Stars bowling attack though…
Can an organisation foster / retain memory? The same thing could be said for “culture” both good and bad. EG: Apparently, Richmond has a good culture, but how will it after Astbury, Houli etc have left?
It’s a sports q but I think it would have crossover into business etc (2/2)
Looking for ppl’s thoughts on “organisational memory”
It’s #AFlFinals atm and there’s a lot of “Geelong is now 1-8 in FW1” and “Essendon doesn’t make finals the year after they lose EF” - but considering the high turnover of personnel, who’s holding on to the memory? (1/2)
If Australia could (properly) field 10 Super Rugby teams the Wallabies would be twice as good because the elite talent pool would have doubled in size…
This is why sports coaches aren’t always good sports administrators… Hansen’s argument is literally the wrong way around… the MORE ppl you expose to the top end, the more likely you are to foster elite talent because it becomes a viable option. (1/2)
🏉🗣 Former @AllBlacks coach Steve Hansen says the Australian pathway into the @Wallabies team is flawed.
Suggesting @RugbyAU needs to decrease its number of Super Rugby teams, to create a more competitive environment.

A lot of hate for the Suns today. From today’s 22:
20 or under: 6
21 - 23: 5
Over 30: 1 (only in for their injured captain in Witts)
Best 22 players who are 30y+ in other teams around the same ladder position.
Blues: 4
Pies: 4
North: 4
Hawks: 5
This re-rebuilt list is young.
