They only fantasize about having a gf because her betrayal (in the fantasy) validates their desire to hate women.
Claude won't believe me so I asked it to show me a counterexample, and now it has been thinking for 10 minutes and my compute budget has decreased by 10%.
You go to war with the army you have, but it’s not exaggerating to say a serial sexting Democrat literally moved Earth into a different timeline with his relapse
@JacksonKernion I think it would be very cool to have something like @ThePolicyEngine in countries with significantly less state capacity than the US and UK.
@FangYi11101@MetricsTruther That is not true. There can be external validity concerns, but we learn plenty from them. A bigger concern IMO is that we spend more time on interventions that can be tested by RCTs instead of on ones that are most promising ex ante.
@morallawwithin Attacking incorrect leftist arguments or opinions was viewed as misguided or "punching down" because those beliefs held no real power in the US and they were "directionally correct".
But this happened in organizations where people with these beliefs had institutional power!
@lxeagle17@SplitTicket_ Do you use demographic shifts in voting patterns in 2024 and/or recent special elections to predict 2026 vote patterns? If so, how does that work?
