[2] Over time, Women and Young Girls have been exposed to all forms of sexual violence. These acts are inhumane. We strongly condemn this act and we call upon the Government to put in place measures that would ensure maximum protection against sexual violence of any kind.
[1] Today, 19th of June 2020 is International Day for the Elimination of Sexual Violence.
The day was created to not only raise awareness on need to end sexual violence but also to honour survivors of sexual violence.
