Obviously it took several years of patience. While I was at Lenovo when we finally won the Cup last night it officially hit me. Not only did the Canes achieved it but the Caniacs believed in it. That to me is what Hurricanes Hockey is about. #StanleyCup#Soundthesiren 3/3
I know I don’t post a lot on here but here it goes. I became a Hurricanes fan since they won the cup in 06. With that being my first year, I only have a few memories from that time and I was a kid. Which meant that the majority of my memories were the dark years of this team. 1/3
Yet I still went and watched every single game. Growing up in the dark years I really felt the disbelief, rumors, and the thought of a team being forgotten. Then the team got better with a new era under Brind’ Amour. 2/3
That’s what I want to see from the top line. Being noticeable offensively and they definitely were in that overtime. Good job guys. We get home ice back and we are up in the series 2-1. Good job Aho. #soundthesiren
@StormSurge_Pod I realize at the heart of it all they do care. But at the same time we are at the point where they are only judged by their impact and results. Not saying they are playing bad cause they aren’t. But I’m not seeing a lot of heart either.
What’s Aho, Jarvis, & Svech really doing? If the canes advance then they have to get goals. Not saying there are playing bad but they aren’t really making an impact either. Makes you wonder if they care about advancing. #soundthesiren#nhl#canes
I’m hearing a lot of rumors surrounding McTavish being dealt. I know the Hurricanes fan in me would love him. But I actually think there could be a trade that will benefit both teams. Blake for McTavish. Obviously there needs to be more but that is the principle. #raiseup#canes
Tulsky has done a fine job adding Ehlers, Miller, and extending Stankoven. Now they need a 2nd line center. With the addition of Ehlers, you now have possibly the capital to pull off a trade to get one. #RaiseUp#canes#nhl#podcast
