America’s elections are the foundation of our republic, and we must secure them.

The Save America Act is common-sense legislation that requires documentary proof of U.S. citizenship to register to vote in federal elections and a photo ID to cast a ballot. It’s time for the Senate to pass it without delay.

Only citizens should decide America’s future.

Opponents call it “voter suppression,” but that’s rhetoric. Requiring ID and citizenship proof is how we run trusted systems everywhere else. Nearly every developed democracy does something similar.

Senate leadership: Do the right thing. Pass the SAVE America Act.
