There are moments when the longing becomes so overwhelming that you find yourself wishing the world would just end, just so you could see them again. Losing a parent leaves a space in your heart that nothing and no one can ever truly fill. Allahumma ighfir lahu warhamhu.
They say time heals all wounds, but when it comes to losing a parent, I don’t think it does. The wound always feels fresh, and the constant realization that they’re truly gone breaks your heart every single time. No matter how much time passes.
the pain never really leaves it just becomes something you learn to carry. Some days, it makes you feel completely numb. Sometimes, you don’t even want to close your eyes because every time you do, you see their face, and you can’t help but break down.
Missing my Maama every day quietly breaks me. Her love, her care, her gentle concern,no one else could ever give them the same way. Allahumma ighfir lahā
