No sufficient Ambulance for health emergencies!!!
No sufficient fire trucks for fire emergencies!!!
No sufficient security patrol vehicles!!!
But we have enough billions to afford luxury cars like BMW, Range Rover, GMC, ACURA for Tinubuโs campaign. As a Nigerian you are more useless than the word โuselessโ to this government.
The governor was quick to visit Ahmad Zakka to score cheap political points with some photos & empty speeches because Ahmadโs news was trending all over social media. These Eight innocent human beings have passed away in the hands of terrorists and since they are not trending, the governor is suddenly too busy to visit for any condolence. You can be paid to say the governor is genuinely concerned about every life, but you canโt make the governor act like he cares about every single life. This is politicization of human lives!!!!!!
It is a lie, No ONSA tactical whatever rescued these victims. Their families paid ransom. This I know from an insider, someone very close to the victim. From day one. In addition, the heartless bandits decided to raise the ransom after a said political bigwig tweeted about it. At least that was what the heartless animals said. So the families had to cough out several other millions before they got their people back.
And to think that he'd be able to falsify the claims of the governor is also really hitting below the belt. A traumatized person, still treating mental & physical injuries won't be able to speak to such gross lies, and we all know that. And this is not saying that the security agencies are not doing anything. But what is obvious is that they are not being able to meet up with the nearest minimum; as people are being kidnapped daily.
There are information we all are not privy to, and of course they're not for the TL neither are they for banters. They're for our consumption & they help us greatly in making our decisions.
Allรฃh Knows the heart of man. May He punish anyone who lies for whatever reason or takes advantage of the failure of the govt to provide us security to his or her gain; however that gain is.
This will not go viral. They saw it. It is not that they missed it, they are just feigning ignorance. I thought the public outrage was always about stopping crimes against humanity? So what happened here? Just 70k views since yesterday?
I hope you guys are seeing the pattern now. If you like, let them whine you.
There are kidnappings week in week out in Kaduna, the governor never goes for photo ops because they do not trend on social media so there is no cheap political points to score there. Itโs a shame that the family of Ahmad Zakka reportedly paid N35million and additional 5 motorcycles as ransom for the return of Ahmad, his wife and their baby. Just like that, Bandits have taken a whooping 40million naira off yet another innocent family in this rotten economy and have left Ahmad with a hand almost completely damaged from torture. But instead of thanking Ahmadโs family for their effort in rescuing Ahmad, his wife and their baby, letโs give thanks to Ribadu for letting the animals that did this to an innocent family go scot free.
Thereโs nothing that triggers me like seeing kidnapped victims being dehumanized and begging for their lives. All of you sympathizers of this govt that canโt even call them out, Allah ya tsine maku.
What is happening in Arewa is heartbreaking, terrifying, and completely unacceptable. People are being kidnapped, tortured, killed, and held for ransom. Videos and reports of these horrific incidents are circulating everywhere online, yet it feels as though the suffering of ordinary citizens has become something we are expected to live with. How did we get to a point where people can no longer feel safe in their own communities, on the roads, or even inside their homes?
Let us be honest with ourselves: our leaders have failed woefully in their most fundamental responsibility, which is to protect the lives and property of the people they govern. This is not about politics, political parties, or who supports which government. It is about human lives, the safety of our families, and the future of our communities. No political affiliation should ever be more important than the lives of innocent Nigerians.
Today, people travelling from one place to another do so with the fear that they may never reach their destination. Families are terrified whenever their loved ones embark on a journey. Even those who remain in their homes are no longer certain that their homes offer them protection. When people begin to fear being abducted from their own neighbourhoods, we must acknowledge that something has gone terribly wrong.
Take Millennium City in Kaduna, for example. The growing fear of bandit attacks and kidnappings is becoming a serious concern for residents. People are reportedly beginning to consider leaving their homes because they no longer feel safe where they live. Imagine working hard to build a home, establish a business, raise your children, and create a future for your family, only to find yourself living in constant fear that you could be taken away for ransom at any moment. No one deserves to live like this.
The consequences extend far beyond the immediate victims of these attacks. Insecurity destroys livelihoods, disrupts education, weakens local businesses, discourages economic activity, and forces families to abandon the communities they have spent years building. It creates an environment where businesses struggle to survive, property loses value, and development becomes increasingly difficult. Most importantly, it destroys the peace of mind that every human being deserves.
No serious investor wants to invest in an environment where lives and property are constantly under threat. Investors need security, stability, and confidence that their businesses, employees, and investments will be protected. When insecurity drives residents away and discourages new businesses from entering a community, the economic consequences eventually affect the entire state. Development cannot thrive where people are afraid to live, work, travel, and conduct their daily activities.
This is why the security crisis in Arewa must not be treated as just another political talking point. It requires urgent attention, decisive action, accountability, and a genuine commitment to protecting the people. We cannot continue to normalise the loss of innocent lives, the payment of ransoms, the displacement of families, and the suffering of communities as though these things are an unavoidable part of life.
Leadership is not merely about occupying an office, making promises, attending events, or campaigning for the next election. Leadership comes with a responsibility to protect citizens, respond to their suffering, and create the conditions necessary for them to live with dignity and peace. When people cannot safely travel, sleep in their homes, or go about their daily lives, serious questions must be asked about the effectiveness of those entrusted with their security.
