Update: We’re back open this evening from 6pm. Opening hours will be limited over the coming days. 6pm - close on Thurs - Sun. Back to regular hours from Monday hopefully. Thanks for understanding.
UPDATE: Micky Martin's freedom extravaganza on Friday took us by surprise. As great as it is to be able to fully open again, unfortunately we're not quite ready just yet. We haven't had our hair done and we're not even sure where we put bar stools... It won't be long however.
"If you want a decent Guinness in an old man's pub go to @husseysbar". Wise words by a local resident.

GOOD NEWS! Husseys Bar reopens at 4pm tomorrow. We look forward to welcoming everyone back. We have made a few changes to the layout to help keep things nice and safe while you enjoy your pint. No bookings. Just call in.🍺 #Pubs#Pints#Killarney
Best of luck to all the pubs reopening tomorrow. We'll hang on for a little bit longer... until the go-ahead for indoor reopening. Enjoy the outdoors and stay safe everyone. #WorthWaitingFor#IrishPubs#Killarney
100 years ago the Black and Tans arrested & imprisoned two Foley brothers for defying a ban on the Wren in Dingle. Martial law was in force but the brothers insisted on honouring the tradition.
Today the Sráid Eoin Wren played a tune outside the Foley house.
Wishing all of our customers and friends, from near and far, a happy and safe Christmas. We hope to be able to see you all again in 2021. Nollaig Shona Daoibh Go Léir. 🎅 #Killarney#Christmas2020
You’d miss the banter with the lads and at the counter on a day like today. There’d be no shortage of local ‘analysis’ during the six o’clock news. Good luck to Joe and all of our friends in #America 🇺🇸 #Election2020
The search for Fungie the dolphin has been called off in Dingle, with locals fearing that he may now never return. Despite extensive searches over the past week, there has been no sign of the bottlenose dolphin | https://t.co/iRy920jn8Y
We've been doing some work to make a bit more space and make it nice + safe for everyone when we open. We've a few bits and pieces still to do, so it will be another few weeks. Good luck to everybody reopening today and anyone heading out for a few long awaited pints. Sláinte.
"Croke Park was almost deserted. Our photographer, Ray McManus, was on his way home too and then he noticed the solitary survivor on Hill 16..."

We didn’t have our hair done in time to stand in for the photo... but today at @husseysbar we stand in solidarity with all of the other family run pubs across Ireland, that like our own have been closed since March. @VFIpubs#SupportNotSympathy
