I figured the hard way I need to stop wasting energy on people who made me question and belittle my ability on the account of sociopolitical stances. Many of them were my inspiration, but this baggage of anxiousness I shoulder needs to be dropped.
I can't be toxic to myself.
2025 was wild. A lot of projects came in. Some were hard, some were fun, but this one was different. Dreamboi. Oh, how I wish I could see this film again for the first time.
I just want to kwento how this shoot felt. I had already published the whole thing on IG, but yeah. I suddenly remembered how it felt tonight while I was organizing some of my files.
This photo, though, is something that will probably stay with me forever. It’s the photo that first introduced Dreamboi to all of you.
When I take photos, I rarely direct too much. I usually allow my subject to work off prompts. For example, music is one way I do that, especially when I’m shooting theater actors. But for this film, I had to become Diwa for a moment. I had to feel what Diwa feels toward Dreamboi, and Tony had to show me what Diwa wanted him to be. How Diwa wanted to be wanted. Craved for.
This was one of the last photos I took during the set. I told Tony, “Kunyari tinali kita and you really want to fuck me, but you can’t.”
It worked.

Minsan nakakakaba tong divide and conquer na ginagawa nila para matibag ang lgbt+ comm. It's a fucking classic move. But then again, queers have gone through so many things. If anything, mas pinapalakas ng tactic nila ang intersectionality ng issue ng kabaklaan at kababaihan

YOU. ARE. SO. FUCKING. CLOSE. TO. GETTING. THE. POINT. YOU. PUMPKIN. SPICE. SCENTED. TRASH. BAG.
Just came from a mall and it's so heartwarming to see so many LGBTQIA+ couples showing public display of affection for Valentine's Day. 😭😭😭
This was unthinkable 15 years ago.
Malayo na, pero malayo pa. Happy for you, loves! 😘🥰
Sad that he didn’t mention the Philippines. Coz I think that the United States and the Philippines have always had a good relationship with each other. We were colonized by the Americans and we have their culture and our traditions even up to this day.
