Larkin was a little bit better in the dot and I'll give you he was better defensively but Cooley offensive ceiling is much higher then Larkin imo. Larkin is good but he's not worth Cooley at 30yo

Just shows you don't know puck at all lmao. Cooley has way more potential then Larkin at the same age so why would they trade him for a 30yo?

Yes he is good and yes Cossa is a great goalie prospect but still. Not sure Utah would do this trade at all since Larkin doesnt really fit the timeline they have

@pucksanddreams_ I mean sure but Chase Reid has so much more potential then ASP and its not Chase Reid for Larkin and ASP its actually the 2nd overall which could very well be Mckenna, Stenberg etc. 2nd overall alone is a massive value. When was the last time a top 5 pick was traded?2nd much less

@pucksanddreams_ Cossa is also a good promising goalie but he's still hasnt proved anything in the show and they already have Askarov. I don't think they trade for another young goalie they would rather have a good veteran goalie to backup Askarov not another young goalie with 0 NHL experience
