This whole Gout Gout thing has made me realise that so many people have no fucking idea what an Australian is - including some Australians sadly. Australia is a nationality, not an ethniticy. The only ethnic Australians are Aboriginal. A big part of our culture, is being multicultural. Our diversity is our strength, not something that should be hated or feared. Anyone who's born in our wonderful country is an Aussie, through and through. Anyone who goes through the immigration process, does their best to fit in and earns their citizenship, is welcome and is just as Aussie as the rest of us. I am. You are. We are Australian 🇦🇺. Countup clock has NEVER made an exciting finish less exciting. Countdown clock often does.
Eg. 89 GF & 99 PF.
Everyone at MCG thought Cats/Dons were still a chance right until siren sounded.
TV viewers knew it was over with 10/20 secs left.
TV should mirror in-venue experience.

The whole point of the umpire bounce in Australian football is for it not to be a predictable and controllable outcome. The removal of the bounce is another example of coaches controlling the game. We may as well use a round ball so we don’t get unlucky bounces in general play.
