Nous rendons hommage à ceux qui ont été tués, ainsi qu’à la petite minorité qui a survécu. Nous exprimons notre solidarité avec ces survivants, qui portent à travers les générations le poids d’une perte et d’une dévastation immenses, tout en s’efforçant de reconstruire leurs vies et leur pays.

«Se souvenir, s’unir, se renouveler» est aussi un appel à l’action.

Le génocide ne commence pas par la violence. Il commence par la haine, la déshumanisation et le silence. Prévenir le génocide exige de la vigilance et le courage de s’exprimer — en ligne comme en personne.
