Africa has to become better for we Africans . It’s frustrating watching so many of us face unnecessary humiliation like this tweet below, discrimination, and barriers both at home and abroad while sitting on some of the world’s richest natural and human resources. Too many of us are forced to leave in search of opportunities, basic services, security, or a better future that should already be available in our own countries.

The problem we have is a leadership and governance problem. Our leaders should be focused on building strong institutions, quality education, reliable infrastructure, functioning healthcare systems, and economies that create opportunities for ordinary people. No African should have to feel like they are less respected simply because of where they come from.

We have immense potential, but potential means very little if it never translates into real progress. We deserves leaders who are committed to development, accountability, and long-term growth rather than short-term politics. We deserve dignity, opportunity, and a future they can believe in. We should demand better, because this level of humiliation is unacceptable.
