“You really find out who your friends are” I’m sure that’s exactly what Macklemore felt when you cut him off after 13 years of friendship. This shows he doesn’t actually understand what the backlash was about and he doesn’t understand why his band and the other acts felt so strongly about what happened. He sees himself as the victim here. It’s also why he didn’t make any sort of apology because he isn’t sorry.
