@UK_Compounder @londonHenryGB Burden to society is laughable, when you or a family needs healthcare and are using the NHS, you too are arguably burdens to society then?
@UK_Compounder @londonHenryGB The return of investment is worth it because I am doing a job I want to do and allows me to work practically anywhere in the world. If anything it’s an issue of pure greed from the government/private institutions, as we need doctors. Your taxes are going towards free healthcare.
@UK_Compounder @londonHenryGB Just because uni didnt make sense for your field of work, doesn’t mean it doesn’t suit for everyone else. Very narrow minded of you, but can’t be surprised from someone celebrating leaving school before A levels. Uni was probably free or 3000 a year for you, which is even funnier
@UK_Compounder @londonHenryGB Ahah I’m a doctor, you are telling me I didn’t need to go to uni. Please inform me how I would have become a doctor without studying medicine. I’d love to know, as you seem to have all the answers and everything figured out.
@UK_Compounder @londonHenryGB Have just bought my first property too, none of this would be possible if I simply focused on paying off my student debt.
Need a word with the government, rather than those forced to attend university to simply enter certain lines of work/industries.
@UK_Compounder @londonHenryGB You wouldn't be waiting for the state to simply pay off your loan, many simply can't due to low wages and such high interest.
I have prioritised building my own portfolio, rather than putting all my funds towards a loan that will be eradicated eventually.
