Because No Child Should Starve

Hadi Al Taaban is 15 years old and lives in Gaza with his parents, his twin brother Amer, his younger brother Habib, his other siblings, and their aunt. There are nine people in the family, with the children ranging in age from 3 to 20. Their home was completely destroyed, and the family has been displaced 50 times because of the ongoing bombings, now living in a makeshift tent on rented land that costs $150 a month and offers little protection from the heat, cold, or rain. No one in the family has a job or another source of income, and they rarely receive aid or food from a soup kitchen. Water is distributed only about once every 10 days, while school fees, supplies, and transportation cost around $50 a month for the children who are still studying. Their aunt has a disability and needs regular medical care, with her medication alone costing about $100 each month, in addition to adult diapers and other necessities. Hadi wants to continue his education and build a future for himself and his family, but their basic needs make that difficult. The family is currently relying on donations for food, medicine, water, clothing, and other essentials, and Hadi hopes they can get enough support to stay safe and continue their lives.
