God is our Deliverer. Even when it doesn’t look like we thought it would, God delivers us for our good & for His glory.
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Ps 18:2
Prayer does make a difference. A life-changing, mind-blowing, earth-rattling difference.
We don’t need to know how. We don’t need to know when. We just need to kneel confidently and know the tremors of a simple Jesus girl’s prayers extend far wide and far deep.
To worship God simply because He exists—no matter the circumstance or what we can see with human eyes—is an essential step of spiritual maturity that anchors our soul in unshakable joy.
You are fully known and fully loved by a God whose greatest joy is to be with you.
I pray these truths flood your heart with peace. Peace that gives you permission to live like you are loved.
Because you are.
Deeply. Abundantly. With a love that will not fail.
Every one of us has something heavy we’re carrying as we walk through our day. And remembering that others have burdens of their own will help us choose to be a little kinder to one another today.
Today, we can choose to let compassion rise, grace soften and love lead.
Jesus is our Light. And because of Him even our darkest of nights aren’t so daunting and confusing.
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, ‘I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” John 8:12
Braves Win Again (63-56) I’m so glad we didn’t Fire Snitker, blow up the pen, send Riley & Dansby down in April, panic when Freeman was hitting .220, make Ozzie bat RH only, re-blow up the pen, question picking up Morton, fire AA or question him making trades at the deadline.
You may feel alone, friend. But you aren’t. Even in our wilderness seasons, God is closer than we realize.
“In a desert land he found him, in a barren and howling waste. He shielded him and cared for him; he guarded him as the apple of his eye.” Deuteronomy 32:10
We don’t have to keep pretending we’re fine when we’re not fine. But we do need to stop and face what’s really holding us back from moving forward. Lord, help us with this.
By wisdom a house is built, and through understanding it is established; through knowledge its rooms are filled with rare and beautiful treasures.” Proverbs 24:3-4
Through wisdom so much is possible. We make our decisions and then our decisions make us.
I often find myself suggesting to God all the ways He could surely fix my circumstances. But I’m learning that God loves me too much to do things my way.
His plan is always better even if I can’t understand or see it clearly as it’s unfolding.
God is absolutely trustworthy, but it’s okay if it takes time to find your way to that truth.
Life can be hard & confusing sometimes. Be patient with yourself & one another. I promise, God is patient & kind & able to handle your questions.
He loves you ... more than you know.
