@CartoonsHateHer I scrolled through the replies and disagreed so much with the top replies that I needed to get in on this! So for your consideration: Jimmy Butler, Steph Curry, Josh Hart, Carlos Alcaraz.
@sadgirls420@MarkovMagnifico But of course, that’s not how anyone calculates transit usage. A more conventional measure is the % of commuters who use public transit (and not just cherry-picking subways). That was 20% for San Francisco even in 2021
@sadgirls420@MarkovMagnifico You wouldn’t have guessed those numbers because they’re simply not true. Average weekday BART ridership in 2023 is 160,000, so even if you were doing the most bad faith calculation possible like this person is trying to do, it would still be 2%.
the dog has started to act like we’re rivals for my boyfriend’s attention and it’s embarrassing for both of us
he’s not worth all that but also i refuse to lose to this literal bitch??
SO BASICALLY PUBLIC LIBRARIES ARE JUST 0.4% OF THE NEW YORK CITY BUDGET, BUT THE MAYOR IS TRYING TO CUT THE LIBRARY'S BUDGET WAY BACK. I’M TALKING $58.3 MILLION! LIBRARIES ARE ALREADY CLOSED ON SUNDAYS BECAUSE OF PREVIOUS CUTS AND MOST BRANCHES WILL BE OPEN FOR JUST FIVE DAYS A WEEK IF THESE CUTS GO THROUGH!! WE ONLY HAVE UNTIL THE END OF JUNE TO TELL @NYCMAYOR #NOCUTSTOLIBRARIES AND SAVE THE LIBRARY.
It's a historic day: Today, the MTA Board voted to approve the toll rates for the nation's first congestion pricing program. This program will reduce traffic in Manhattan's central business district, reduce pollution, and provide critical funding for transit improvements.
