BREAKING: Science and Technology Secretary Renato Solidum says all provinces in the country are projected to experience drought by the end of March 2027 based on the latest meteorological outlook amid the prevailing El Niño.

“Lahat ng probinsya,” Solidum said in a Palace briefing.

Under DOST-PAGASA’s definition, drought means three consecutive months of way-below-normal rainfall, or a reduction of more than 60 percent from average, or five consecutive months of below-normal rainfall. | @TristanNodalo
