Memories & Lessons

Volleyball tryouts marked the start of every high school year.

It was 3rd year, my junior year and I was beyond excited to see my teammates.

I was on JV my Freshman and Sophomore year and my goal was varsity, but it really didn't matter, just being on a team was enough for me.

The best part was I had support too.

My teammates were the best support I could ask for, and my coaches too. Even our team's parents supported me.

And with all that I tried out the following year. My senior year. And I made the starting string and my name in the newspaper.
