In Islam, human life is highly respected, and protecting it is both a basic right and a religious duty.

If someone is unjustly attacked by robbers, kidnappers bandits, oppressors, or anyone wishing to cause them harm, Islam gives them the clear right to defend themselves.

But what happens if a person tragically loses their life during this struggle? According to Islamic teachings, a person who dies while defending their life, their family, their property, or their faith is granted the honorable spiritual status of a martyr, known as achieving "Shahada."

The Prophet Muhammad explicitly taught that anyone killed under these circumstances is considered a martyr in the eyes of Allah. This means that dying in self-defense is not seen as a meaningless tragedy or a simple defeat.

Instead, the Creator elevates that person to one of the highest ranks in the afterlife, forgiving their sins and rewarding their bravery. This beautiful concept brings great comfort to the families left behind.

It shows that Islam stands firmly against injustice and violence, ensuring that those who bravely protect their God-given rights and the safety of their loved ones are eternally honored as noble souls.

The World Cup Verse the Greater Goal
The world holds its breath for a ball, yet ignores the Muʾadhdhin's call.

Millions will roar for a goal, while few will weep for the soul.

They know every name on the team, but forget the One who reigns supreme.

They sit awake through the night for a match, but sleep through the Fajr they were meant to catch.

So ask yourself truthfully tonight: for what does your heart take flight?

A trophy that rusts and is sold, or a Paradise crowned in gold?

The cheers shake the stadium, then fall into silence. The main player takes the podium, then slips into absence.

But the one who scored with his prayer and his fast will find that his victory will last.

Run your own race, and do not be deceived. The greatest goal is Jannah, which you should rather strive to achieve.
