🔥Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)

✅ The Diagnostic process for TOS has historically been awful due to normal imaging/nerve testing and unreliable clinical tests

✅ The compression sites of the nerves are typically due the Scalenes/1st Rib OR Under the Pec Minor

✅ Previous diagnosis was typically made using Athelte’s history of symptoms and the unreliable clinical tests (Adson’s + Roos) so there was no way to know exactly where the nerve compression was for each athlete

✅ A more Sniper Specific Approach: Diagnostic Injections (Numbing agent) can be used separately in each of the two common structures/neighboring nerves to tease out exactly which structure (if either) is the causative issue

✅ The athlete will then throw the same day as each injection to see which had the bigger impact of decreasing the symptoms

✅ This process will then give a much clearer plan of attack for the rehab in both the surgical and non surgical processes
