Faust had never been a person for emotions. So… why was she so desperate to pretend Hina wasn’t gone?
Was it because of how sudden the illness was? Was it because there was no real chance to say farewell?
“I…”
She didn’t know.
@boppinbooks_ Stay calm, Hina. It is not impossible to recover from smoke exposure, but… it takes time.
There’s a supermarket near here with an air purifier. We can go there and have you rest for now, and I’ll attempt to contact Gregor.
@boppinbooks_ It’s not a problem, Hina. The good news is that the camp I’ve set up with Outis and Gregor isn’t too far away, it’s only about another day or so out, if we choose to opt for a stealthier route.

It’s a brutal fight, carving through the hordes of Infected. Faust had to split from Outis and Gregor, in order to rescue more people at once.
Another swing of her blade, and another Infected fell. She was getting close to the bunker, but some problems came up.
That being said, Faust knew all outcomes. Something with a lower power could make it through with a clean hit without too much cost.
Standing back, her clothes changed as she manifested Representation Emitter. “Faust knows all outcomes.” She muttered, striking the bunker door.
