Crypto Game Review: @ApeironNFT
chain: Ronin
First Impression score: 8.4/10 👀
Highlights:
-Very fun gameplay, reminded me why I was once addicted to league of legends.
-I love the IP, the Doods are cute.
-Ranked system is fun
-Easy to learn, hard to master.
-Mobile and PC
Things that would increase it's score for me:
-Too confusing for people at the start, similar to mobas. Needs good tutorials.
-Planet attributes are not easy to understand for noobs. Same goes for your Dood army.
What did you expect? You can’t even spell RONIN without RO.

YOUR PRIORITIES AND NEEDS ARE NOT THE SAME AS OTHER PEOPLE'S
There are people in the Philippines for example, who would be grateful earning $5-$10 for the week by playing crypto games.
To someone well off, or to someone in another country with higher cost of living, $5 may be nothing and "not worth it".
But to some, it could be a life raft. During the pandemic, Axie Infinity was the life raft for many people in my country. I know this to be true for other countries as well in LatAm, SEA, and Africa.
To this day, there are crypto / web3 games that are providing opportunities for people across the globe.
What's NOTHING to you, can be LIFE CHANGING for someone.
Don't generalize and act like your situation is everyone else's.
Is p2e gaming perfect? Heck no.
Does it need some work, evolving, studying, fine tuning, revamping? Yup, for sure.
But really, what's the point in being in this space if you don't believe in ownership and 'magic internet money', as how most people tend to call it? You know, the idea of maybe getting rewarded for your time and skills, while having fun?
Being able to help make your life better by gaming.
Cause maybe that's the only thing you can do right now. Maybe the job market isn't favorable where you're at.
And that should be fine. Why are we shaming these people?
Is the play just to get a sponsorship from the very games you mock and laugh at? The players of those games you belittle?
How about we think of solutions and open up our minds to the power of blockchain technology and the potential of this revolution—
~Rather than thinking small and pissing on the very industry you walk in.
Sick and tired of seeing entitled hot takes in my timeline.
Empathy can go a long way, you know.
Think about other people instead of just thinking about yourself and your goddamn bags, and maybe, just maybe, you'll understand exactly what's going on and the potential this space truly has.

And no, this post is not targeted to any individual. This is my take based on the collective garbage I've been seeing on Twitter against web3 games, "bots vs real players", "low value players from SEA", and the unreasonable shaming for people who take profit or literally playing to earn.
