And if your project doesn't have a DevRel team, you’re missing out on a whole group of devs out there looking to pivot and build. We can help here, whether it's building DevRel from scratch or supporting strategies. DMs open!
Is DevRel still worth it in 2025? With AI everywhere and crypto not exactly top of mind for devs right now, it’s a fair question.
Here’s our take, based on what we’re seeing across teams and tools:
It’s not the most measurable role, true. But the content, support, and feedback loops that DevRel brings is what drives long-term growth. Even more when the hype dies down.
Think how you can get developers show outcomes beyond just code.
• Help them get visibility for what they are building - social media reposts work great for example.
• Give them some credits such as badges, swags, etc
Devtools work if they can help in career growth or generate income.
Design ecosystems where devs can:
→ Sell apps
→ Build tooling
→ Get hired
Your product’s success depends on their success.
Crypto doesn’t need more stunts.
It needs better Dev Experience and Dev Journey design.
Retention > Attention.
Focus on that, and the builders will come—and stay. 🛠️

One metric 90% of crypto companies ignore: 👉 Developer Retention
Hackathons, swag, airdrops = hype.
But hype doesn’t convert users into long-term builders. Let’s talk about what actually does. 🧵
Want retention? Build trust.
→ Be active in dev communities
→ Answer support threads
→ Add good-first-issues on GitHub
Devs don’t just adopt products—they adopt people who support them.
