@ShittyHaloTakes Tbh, always did, imo. There are many factors at play, but something observable in these communities is a *lot* of bad-faith shit-talking *and* the way it's easier to seem "smart" if you're negative about something than if you're positive about it.
@MokaCIX@logorn_gadum@ShittyHaloTakes I think "little to no flaw" is a false premise, here. CE, 2, 3, and ODST *all have real flaws,* some of which were just *accepted* by the community.
3's *literal existence* as a separate game is arguably an *accident* created by time constraints on Halo 2.
@jadaiyuki@NotTheCityInTX@evolved117 AMEN. It's just genuine obnoxious, pestering behavior. You don't get to act like you're "just criticizing" at that point.
@Saigo4k Hell yeah! Introduced by Guitar Hero 15+ years ago, solidified with Delirium, and guaranteed by Black Anima. Also thought Sleepless Empire was pretty good :-)

Toxic Fan: *toxic behavior for years and years*
Community manager: "Okay, that's enough of that." *blocks*
Toxic Fan: "C'mon, what did I do?! I got blocked for CriTiCiZinG!"
Enabler Fan: "Only *legit* toxic behavior should warrant this."
Me: "Yep, and that's why it happened."
@NotTheCityInTX@evolved117 I agree that only legitimately toxic behavior should warrant a block. And that's exactly why evolved getting blocked was long overdue. Most toxic fan since Empress Cortana.
Bro hasn't done anything to meaningfully "advance humanity" in over 8 years. Can we stop acting like he's still interested in doing anything of the sort?
@Halo Disappointed to see y'all shelf Halo Infinite's story. Sure, a lot of fans whined. Still, stick to your guns, for Chief's sake. Star Wars fans didn't like Empire when it first released, either. Smh
@J4ckTheRippa This makes me think of one of my big critiques of Lorna Shore. "Heavy for the sake of being heavy" isn't inherently bad, but "bland" *is* a bad thing, and it's dangerously easy to make something "heavy for heavy's sake" into something incredibly bland.
