Hi everyone! I’d like to share a retrospective on Hyper Epics, the indie webcomic series I created. The challenge: tell complete, stand-alone stories in just 3 pages. Was this possible? Over several years and 100+ tales, we put that idea to the test. A thread.

@armondboudreaux Good question. I'd say no. Not in the bigger picture. Live action repackaging is not a trend I am generally a fan of.

Hyper Takes: HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON (2025) A muddy first hour nearly grounds it but finds its wings by the finale—and then it soars. I enjoyed it, though I haven’t seen the original. For fans, it might feel frustrating or tedious. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 4.
