@scotcan176 @SamanthaDixonMP Yes. Because of serious lack of investment following nationalisation in 1948, by successive governments, they were privatised after 1994, which meant taxpayers were not obliged to cough up the billions of £'s required.

What will be the impact? More tax rises, without doubt.
